Sachin Gupta

Associate Manager, Advertiser Sales

Introduction Hi, I’m Sachin Gupta, and I work as an Associate Manager in Advertiser Sales at vCommission. I have around eight to nine years of total experience, and I have been with vCommission for the last three years.
What do people often misunderstand about advertiser sales? People often think advertisers' sales are only about selling inventory and bringing in new campaigns. But it is more about problem-solving, building strategies, and creating strong relationships with advertisers.
Describe your job in one line, but without using sales, deals, or targets. I see myself as a mediator between advertisers and publishers, bringing both together to bridge gaps and create meaningful collaboration.
What’s your rule for long-term advertiser relationships? My personal rule is to always add a human touch. Whether you call it friendship or brotherhood, that personal connection helps advertisers trust that I can deliver solutions others may not.

Life at vCommission

What’s your biggest distraction at work (phone, food, reels, or gossip)?

Definitely food. Campaigns can wait a few minutes, but food deserves attention right at that moment.

What’s something people assume you’re good at, but you’re not?

People often think I am great at multitasking, but the truth is, I prefer handling one task at a time, even if it looks like I am managing many things together.

At Work

If your manager described you in three words, what would they say?

I think they would say possessive, solution-hunting, and trust-building. I also believe I bring strong synergies to the table.

If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?

Honestly, no one. Everyone’s life has its own chaos, and I am happy living mine.

If you had a million dollars tomorrow, what would you spend it on first?

Like a true Baniya, I would focus on investments first. I would put that money into house properties, the stock market, gold, and silver.

Getting Personal

What’s a childhood dream that is nothing like what you are doing now?

As a child, I dreamed of joining the army. I even cleared NDA, but due to certain circumstances, I could not pursue that path.

If you could eat one dish forever, what would it be?

It would be Sarson Ka Saag with Makki ki Roti.
